Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. basketball player, Will Perkins, shoots a jumper for the University of Washington in a game against UCLA. Will is in his senior year and currently leads the Pac 10 Conference in double-doubles (scoring and rebounding).

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football player Kenton Keith, shakes loose for New Mexico State University. Kenton had a great junior season this past year. A knee injury in his final game kept him from having a 1,000 yard rushing season.

This past season, former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football player Brandon Williams, started some games as a true freshman for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Brandon was a member of the 1992 North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. National Runner-up football team.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football & basketball player and current Husker football player, Wilson Thomas, leaps to congratulate Eric Crouch.Wilson will be a sophomore at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall. Wilson was a member of the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. 1991 National Championship team. |

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football player and current Husker, Randy Stella, returns a kickoff against Missouri. Randy will be a sophomore at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln this fall.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. and Husker football player, Ahman Green, had a tremendous season this past year with the Green Bay Packers. Ahman was a member of the 1991 North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. National Championship team.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football player, Donnie Johnson, is currently exploring offers to play basketball professionally in Europe. Donnie was a very key contributor to Creighton University's basketball teams the last two years. Donnie was a member of the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. 1991 National Championship football team.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football player Michael Carter II, is currently a dean's list senior majoring in marketing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Michael was a member of the 1991 North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. National Championship football team.

Donell DeLeon-Thompson, of Omaha South High School, crosses the finish line the winner of the Class A 400 meter dash in the 2000 Nebraska State High School Track and Field Championships. Donell played basketball with the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. high school all-stars. He is currently entertaining scholarship offers from several colleges.

Tai Burleson, former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. cheerleader and current Omaha Central standout student athlete, performed extremely well at the 2000 Nebraska State High School Track and Field Championships. Tai finished 2nd in both the Class A 200 and 400 meter dashes. Tai will be attending college next fall on an academic scholarship. She plans on becoming a medical doctor.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football and basketball player, Mike Kuhn, recently accepted a basketball scholarship to Division I Hampton University. Mike recently graduated from Omaha Central High, where he started and was a key member of their basketball team.

Former North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. football and basketball player David Slaughter Jr., quarterbacked Omaha Creighton Prep to the Class A State Championship his junior year, and a runner-up finish in the State playoffs in football this past season. David is currently exploring his options for college next year. David quarterbacked the B.E.A.R.S. 13/14 year old team to a city championship, in perhaps the most dramatic B.E.A.R.S. come-from-behind victory in its history.
