1991 Omaha Sportscasters Association honored Program Director Mike Carter with their Volunteer of the Year Award.

1991 B.E.A.R.S. program received proclamations from both the Nebraska State Legislature and the Omaha City Council.

1992 Program Director Mike Carter received the Jefferson Award from KETV and traveled to Washington D.C. as the local nominee for the National Award.

1993 Program cited on national television on the NBC Nightly News as an outstanding youth program.

1993 Omaha Sportscasters Association honored Program Director Mike Carter with the Charlie Mancuso Award as Coach of the Year.

1995 Program Advisor/Basketball Coordinator Robert Faulkner received the Jefferson Award from KETV.
