SEND A KID TO THE GAME PROGRAM

The Nebraska B.E.A.R.S. indoor professional football team, member of the American Professional Football League, has a sponsorship program called the "Send a Kid to the Game Program," in which companies or individuals can purchase blocks of tickets to our home games for "underprivileged" children. Most of these tickets will be utilized by children from the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. youth program, but some tickets will also go to other youth agencies. The Nebraska B.E.A.R.S. home games are played at the Mid-America Center Arena in Council Bluffs, Iowa (right next to Harrah's Casino).
The North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. is the youth organization supported by and affiliated with the Nebraska B.E.A.R.S. indoor professional football team. The North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. youth program is a 501(C)(3) organization, and an award-winning youth agency that serves youth (primarily in North Omaha) with programming to enhance their development academically, socially, and academically (see www.northomahabears.com). The acronym, B.E.A.R.S. (Building Esteem and Responsibility Systematically) was actually also given to the adult indoor professional football team so that people would recognize the obvious connection and affiliation with the two organizations.

The Football tickets would actually be purchased through the non-profit program, the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. youth program. Not only will the recipients of these tickets enjoy their venture at the game, but also this purchase will double in benefits as the money will be used to purchase some computers and other smaller "give-awyas" to be awarded to children during our presentations at various schools, as well as assist in the purchase of equipment and other operating expenses for our youth sports programming.

If you decide to purchase tickets, a form that includes the North Omaha B.E.A.R.S. Federal Tax ID number will be faxed to you so that you will be able to submit your ticket request.
